In 2022, the death of a dear family member of one of the founders, at the age of 92, marked his first real confrontation with grief. After the funeral, burial and a meditation in the cemetery a few months later, Le tout shed light on an often overlooked reality: how difficult it can be to preserve and relive the memories of a loved one who has passed away.
From this ordeal was born an idea: to create a virtual memorial portal capable of protecting and passing on memory over time and generations. As early as January 2024, an in-depth market analysis was conducted with the desire to build a company that offers a sustainable, modern and accessible solution for preserving memories. As the development progressed, a broader reflection emerged: memory is not limited to human beings alone. The unique bonds we share with our pets, the importance of the significant events in our lives, and the heritage value of historic places and people also deserve to be preserved.
This is how SL Memorial has expanded its vision to also offer virtual portals dedicated to animals, events and museology, offering each story, whether intimate or collective, a timeless space to continue to live and be transmitted.
